Provides stay-true colour, eight hours. Non-feathering, non-bleeding Swatchy Swatch Wear Time, Formula & Scent Crowned is a dark plum and Metrochrome is a golden bronze. The added shimmer gives this a mousse like texture. It’s not as liquid-like as the original Retro Matte.

That happens to liquid lipsticks once micas are added, it changes the texture. These have the signature M.A.C Vanilla scent, which isn’t a bad thing.

I enjoy the scent of M.A.C lip products, but it is something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to smell. The formula doesn’t feel gritty on the lips once it dries down.These don’t budge for several hours (2-3 for me) but once you eat foods that have some sort of oil, these will break down. Keep in mind, that is not unusual for liquid lipsticks. Metallic finish lip products emphasise lip lines A LOT more than a creme finish. When these start to wear down, it can look unflattering.

You will have to reapply these at some point during the day. Grade: A− The last time I checked there was only 6 colors available. I’m not sure if M.A.C is coming out with more colors. I certainly hope that they do because this metallic liquid lipstick is one of the best that I’ve tried. It has a beautiful shimmer without looking outdated, which I know can be an issue with lip colors that have frost. These are a definite winner.
