Having tried the game on multiple computers I can say that if your computer is on the 'low to low-medium' spectrum in terms of specs you will not have a great time trying to get HotS to run well, if at all. This seems to be a problem with optimisation on the game's part. Considering it's using Starcraft 2's engine and that game suffers from the same problems this likely will not change any time soon. The game was running just fine last patch. I also have a MBP but with a 2gb gpu ( radeon r9 m370x).
